Collin Watts – President and CEO
Collin has been in the oilfield industry for 25+ years. Collin’s career has taken him throughout Western Canada and Russia on various pipeline and facility projects. For the past 15+ years he has been actively operating Watts Projects and growing the business to what it is today.
Kevin Smith- General Manager, Red Deer
- Quality Control Manager and Estimator
Kevin has been in the industry 20+ years and with Watts Projects Inc since 1997. He has advanced in the company from labourer to Superintendent to General Manager and Estimator. His outstanding leadership ability enables him to oversee and manage multiple crews from estimating through completion.
Rick Mappin- Operations Manager, Edson

Rick joined Watts Projects Inc in 1998, and has vast experience in the industry from his 25+ year’s experience. Rick is known for his ability to operate any piece of heavy equipment on the jobsite. Rick’s current role encompasses everything from project estimating to overseeing multiple crews of large numbers of men and equipment.
Cody Howitt – HSE Manager
-HR Manager
Cody has been with Watts Projects since 2004 to ensure we are meeting and exceeding all safety regulations. He has completed numerous courses (i.e. Leadership for Safety Excellence, Auditor Training, Principles of Health & Safety Management, Ground Disturbance, CSTS) to provide excellent project safety coordination. He also conducts employee and contractor hiring, and manages the logistics of equipment and material to site.
Rhiannon Rowledge- CA/Controller
Rhiannon completed her Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting at the U of A in 2004. She spent the next 4 years working in public practice in Red Deer, obtaining her CA designation, and relishing the opportunity to meet diverse clients in a variety of industries. She joined Watts Projects in November 2008 as Controller and Senior Accountant.
Chris Martini- Sales Manager, Calgary
Chris started with Watts Projects Inc in 2007, fresh out of school with a Commerce Degree in Marketing. He is enthusiastic to meet with all current, former, and future clients to talk about the services we provide, and to get feedback to ensure that our customer service exceeds expectations.
Jason Browne- Facility Superintendent
Jason brings 15+ years of facility construction experience and an impeccable reputation in the industry. He is a highly respected Superintendent who is requested by every client he works for.
Pat Worthington – Facility Superintendent
Pat started with Watts Projects Inc in 1998, and like many of his peers, worked his way up through the ranks to Superintendent. Pat is recognized for his strong work ethic, quality of craftsmanship and is specifically requested back by his clients.
Jared Longman –Facility Superintendent
Starting as a labourer in 2001, Jared has quickly worked his way up as a labourer, pipefitter, and now a Superintendent for Watts Projects Inc. He is experienced in all aspects of pipefitting and facility construction, as well as steel and plastic pipelines. Watts Projects Inc is proud to have long term employees who we can promote from within.
Phil Wheale- Facillity Superintendent
Phil has 10+ years experience in the industry. He started with Watts Projects Inc in the summer of 2010 and has already built a reputation as a strong leader who can get the job done safely and efficiently.
Randy Handbury – Pipeline Superintendent
Randy has 30+ years experience in the industry. With his vast experience, leadership skills, and hard work ethic, Watts Projects was very excited to bring Randy on as a valued member of our team in the spring of 2010.
